Ethics for Authors

Author(s) are expected to comply with the best ethical practice in research and publication. QUEST develops the following summary of major ethical concern with link to the relevant policy in compliance with COPEs international standards for authors.

1. Author(s) should adhere to publication requirements that submitted work is original is not plagiarised and has not been published elsewhere and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere either in printed or electronic form. 2. It is the responsibility of each author to ensure that the research being reported to have been conducted in an ethical and responsible manner which should comply with all relevant legislation. 3. Journals specific requirement should be followed by the author. Its author(s) responsibility to read the aims & scope section policy author guideline as well as about the individual journal. Our few journals do not consider manuscript from the author(s) below the Ph.D. level student the author should ensure their eligibility. Author(s) are suggested to read Withdrawal Policy Privacy and Authorship.
4. Researchers should present their results clearly honestly and without fabrication falsification or inappropriate data manipulation. Authors are exclusively responsible for the contents of their submissions the validity of the results and must make sure that they have permission from all involved parties to make the data public. 5. Authors wishing to include figures, charts or text passages that have already been published elsewhere are required to obtain permission from the copyright holder(s) and to include evidence that such permission has been granted when submitting their papers. 6. Authors affirm that the article contains no unfounded or unlawful statements and does not violate the rights of others. Authors warrant that the rights of third parties will not be violated and that the publisher will not be held legally responsible should there be any claims for compensation. 7. Researchers should strive to describe their methods clearly and unambiguously so that their findings can be confirmed by others.

8. Authors warrant that all who have contributed significantly to the manuscript are indicated as authors in the agreed order. Ghost  and Guest authorship should be avoided. Authors should take collective responsibility for submitted and published work. For more detail the author(s) are suggested to read the Authorship.
9. The author is responsible to disclose funding sources and relevant conflicts of interest. Both financial and non-financial competing interest should be declared. For more detail the author(s) are suggested to read Conflict of Interest.

When an author discovers a significant error or inaccuracy in his/her own published work it is the authors obligation to promptly notify the journal editorial office or publisher and cooperate to address the issue in accordance with the ethical guideline.
