Abstract

This review paper examines the progress of women's education in Bihar, emphasizing the challenges posed by socio-cultural norms, poverty, and inadequate infrastructure, particularly for Dalit and rural women. Despite these barriers, government initiatives like the Mukhyamantri Balika Cycle Yojana and National Education Policies have significantly improved literacy rates and enrollment. The study also explores the role of technology and innovative methods in enhancing education while advocating for sustained efforts and community engagement to ensure inclusive and equitable educational opportunities, reinforcing education as a key driver of gender equality and social progress.
